Welcome to the International Ladies Group of Burlington, Vermont USA.

Are you new in the area? Are you looking for an opportunity to have social activities with other international ladies? Then come and join us, we would love to meet you. We meet (generally) on the second and fourth Monday of every month, except during the summer. Please visit our schedule for upcoming activities, locations, and times. We hope you will join us for our next gathering!

Who we are...

We are German, American, Australian, Japanese, French... We are teachers, homemakers, retirees, professionals, business owners... We are friends with international backgrounds.

We enjoy conversation, eating and having a wonderful time. We are part of this group because we enjoy being social, laughing, doing things together and celebrating our international uniqueness.

How we got started...

Several years ago a small group of women, many who were wives of IBM internationals, began to gather for a time of socializing, eating and activity. Through the changing tide of international business the general age of the members began to change and their needs began to change.

Eventually the Internatianal Group divided into two parts; the International Playgroup ~ a group of parents who were looking for a good place for their children to interact with other children, and the International Ladies Group ~ a group of women whose children were older, and who wanted to enjoy socializing with other women, doing activities together, and having energetic conversations. That is how we became the International Ladies Group.
